I’m a reporter and editor currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

I care most about stories that focus on people and how policy and powerful institutions affect their lives. I’ve reported on the deportation of formerly incarcerated Cambodians raised in the U.S., the social effects of the Cambodian government’s anti-drug crackdown, Palestinian child labor in the West Bank, the 2016 U.S. presidential campaigns and more.

I’ve covered human rights, criminal justice and social issues from New York City, Jerusalem and Phnom Penh, and previously worked as a copy editor and youth development professional, empowering young people through journalism and community service.

My work has been published in World Policy Journal, The Daily Beast+972 Magazine, The Cambodia DailyThe National Memo and Truthout.
